Where is the beef? More like where is the beef coming from? Donald Trump has decided to introduce millions of pounds of foreign beef into our food chain. They won’t even tell the American public where the beef is coming from. The reason he and his administration refuses to tell us is because the beef is probably coming from Argentina. In an attempt to help his friend President Javier Milei of Argentina unload millions of pounds of beef, he is willing to jeopardize the health of millions of Americans.  Millions of pounds of beef that even the European Union refuses to accept. They refuse to purchase the tainted beef because of the poor quality and massive amounts of pesticides and antibiotics that the meat contains. They refuse to tell us where the beef is coming from because they know the American public would not want to participate in their little science experiment.  An experiment that may cause significant side effects on unsuspecting consumers.  When other nations refuse to purchase such a tainted product it should set off alarm bells in every person's head.  So in the process of harming the American public, Trump is also harming the financial status of the American cattle rancher.  Ranchers are now in the process of rebuilding the numbers of cattle to meet America’s high demand for beef products. By Trump flooding the market of tainted beef, it discourages cattle ranchers to raise more cattle, thus keeping the price of beef skyhigh and making the U.S. more dependent on foreign beef. Trump is even floating the idea of cattle ranchers slaughtering their own cattle and introducing their meat to the public market. This is a foolish idea because we don’t even have enough meat inspectors now.  What makes him think they would be able to inspect thousands of additional meat processing operations? This sort of short sightedness will again increase the chances of tainted beef to an unsuspecting American public.  Trump puts forth such ignorant ideas because the American public elected a poor decision maker that continues to drive our economy into a ditch.  A ditch that will take years of applying sound fiscal policy to return to a thriving economy and food chain that resembles some form of sanity.
