It’s official, Donald Trump has morally bankrupted our nation.  The final nail in America’s moral highground coffin came at the Republican Mid-term convention held in Dallas, Texas.  We all witnessed the embarrassing exhibition of the American cult of Trump Kingdom that night.  He actually had the attendees pledge to cheat at the upcoming midterm elections in November.  He then had them pledge their allegiance to him as the greatest cult leader, I mean greatest President in our history.  The most egregious attack on our moral authority came when he offered a $5,000 bribe to every American who votes Republican in the midterm elections.  You can imagine the response from the corporate media was incredulous, think again. Corrupt, I mean corporate media barely made a peep about this disgusting display of corruption.  This level of election interference is unheard of in our nation's history.  The corporate media could barely handle President Obama wearing a tan suit, could you imagine him floating the idea of bribing the American voters to the tune of 1.4 Trillion dollars?  

     This shameless bribe is just the most recent exhibition of Trump's corruption and fear of being held to account for his lawlessness.  Another example is the Republican gerrymandering of the congressional district maps which eliminates and or compromises representation of minority segments of the population.  The Republican party is so fearful they are even reducing the amount of polling places to such a level that people will have to drive for miles just to vote and or wait hours just to cast their ballot. Talk about attacking our democracy and having no shame in doing so.  It’s becoming very apparent that half of Americans support the demise of our nation.  No matter what evidence is presented to them, their undying support for Donald Trump never ceases to amaze me.  Sadly, we will reap what we sow and it will take decades to rebound from such an immoral and corrupt leader.
