Well apparently we can’t even show our love for this country with a grammy nominated Mariachi band at an NFL game.  On Monday September 28th MAGA was outraged that a Mariachi band played the national anthem. Their hate was clearly out of bounds and the real reason for their anger must be addressed.  It wasn’t just that they hate us, they hate the idea that our culture has survived generations of ethnic cleansing.  They are far more comfortable dehumanizing us to such an extent that people have normalized attacks in the street by their secret police.  They find our culture offensive because it reminds them of all the unjust things they have done.  They are in constant fear that more Latinos will embrace their culture and stand up to their daily rounds of unfair treatment.  They like it much better keeping us oppressed and living in the shadows.  They know that our cultural knowledge is power and they will continue to keep us as second class citizens for as long as we let them. Sadly, MAGA chooses to continue their hateful agenda even though we have done nothing wrong but to exist and contribute to this country.
